You can download the Li’l Mouth text-to-speech program. The file comes as a compressed ZIP archive, which contains the program, support files, and instructions for installation. Li’l Mouth allows you to hear highlighted text from web pages or documents read aloud, providing a simple and effective tool for literacy support.

How to Install

  1. Download the Lilmouth.zip file to your computer.

  2. Create a new folder on your hard drive and copy the ZIP file into this folder.

  3. Right-click the ZIP file and select “Extract All” or use a tool such as WinZip to unpack the program files.

  4. For the Basic version, simply double-click Li’lMouth.exe to run the program.

  5. For the Versatile version, follow the instructions in the included ReadMe file to install any additional speech software required.

  6. Optionally, create a desktop shortcut for easy access by right-clicking the program icon and selecting “Create Shortcut.”

Once installed, you can highlight text in any web page or document, copy it to the clipboard, and click on Li’l Mouth to hear the text spoken aloud.
